It’s fair to say that there are multiple techniques for wallpaper removal but it’s fair to say people usually have no clue on how to strip wallpaper. One of the biggest problems I see people run into when they are trying to remove their own wallpaper is: “How do I go about removing the wallpaper without damaging the wall itself?” This process can vary depending on how your specific wallpaper was installed and the current condition of your specific wallpaper. One thing that a home owner may not consider and take into mind is the types of wall you use in your home. Plaster walls are easier to deal with, and if you happen to have these in your home, then the removal process would go along pretty smoothly. If by chance your house has drywall in use, the removal process may be slightly more complicated than removal on plaster walls.
In addition, the type of wallpaper used influences total cost. Dry strip paper is by far the easiest to remove, and it will likely be far cheaper than you anticipated.
